Perched on a hill, an impressive viewpoint, our cellar is located in the area of the Hills of Perugia, along the ‘Strada dei vini del Cantico’ route. A story that began more than a hundred years ago: thanks to family management, we preserve the traditions and authenticity of times gone by, evoking the flavours and aromas of the Umbrian countryside and always maintaining high quality.

We are in a highly strategic position: surrounded by our vineyards, in a quiet atmosphere but close to the main centres and villages of our beautiful region, such as Perugia and Assisi, and just a few kilometres from the highway.
Our history
Winemakers in umbria since 1890
Founded at the end of the 19th century among the Sant’Enea estates in Perugia, our wine cellar is the epitome of winemaking tradition.
From its foundation to the present day, five generations have succeeded one another: today we continue along the path traced by those who came before us, bringing new ideas and new projects but always putting the same passion into them.
The cellar
In the cellar, as well as in the vineyard, we respect nature and its rhythms as much as possible.
We have a large barrique cellar with wooden barrels, concrete tanks and steel casks: where the past, present and future meet.
The vineyard
Thanks to the excellent exposure to the sun and the qualitative characteristics of the soil, Chiorri wines all have the Colli Perugini Denomination of Controlled Origin (DOC) and the Typical Geographical Indication (IGP) of Umbria.
Twenty-five hectares of vineyards that we preserve and protect in order to pass them on to future generations.
Sustainability
We have created a very strong bond with the territory and it is this synergy that characterises the quality of our work and the strong identity of our wines.
Environmental protection and the preservation of biodiversity are a priority for us.
We take care of the entire supply chain: from the vineyard to the delivery to the final consumer’s home, safeguarding all the beauty of our host territory.
